Jason is a native of Florida and graduated from Florida State University and then went on to the Nova Southeastern University where he earned his J.D. in 1999. His time in law school was spent excelling in his studies but also expanding his knowledge in other ways. He interned for the United Nations in New York, along with authoring an article that was published by the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law: "The Logical Next Step: An International Perspective on Human Cloning and Genetic Technology."
